If content is king, then distribution is queen: ACREres presenters to talk dissemination of content

David Moman of Crimson Homes talks at the Alabama Center for Real Estate’s Alabama Commercial Real Estate Conference & Expo in February.

Cherie and David Moman will speak at the Alabama Residential Real Estate Conference & Expo on May 4 in Birmingham.

Technology has provided multiple new opportunities for Realtors.

From lead generation software to drone use in photography, innovation has become a key component of being successful in the industry, and reaching the consumer through this technology has become just as important.

“A good marketing plan is part of a good listing presentation,” said Cherie Moman, who will present, along with David Moman, “If Content is King, Then Distribution is Queen” at the Alabama Residential Real Estate Conference & Expo on May 4 in Birmingham. “Sellers want to know their home is going to be seen.”

ACREres will be hosted by the Alabama Center for Real Estate at The Club atop Red Mountain. Click here for information on speakers, tickets, reserved tables, sponsorships and exhibition opportunities.

Based in Tuscaloosa, David Moman is an FAA licensed drone pilot. He has taken hundreds of aerial photos for the use of real estate marketing. Capturing and creating high-quality content is just one step in the process of getting the product to the consumer, Moman said.

“Today, buyers can look at homes in many different places, so it is important for agents to be everywhere someone might be looking,” David Moman said.

That is where distribution of content comes in, Moman said.

“Realtors need to develop their personal brand, identify their market and define what makes them special to that market in order to determine the best places to reach their market and the message they need to send,” Cherie Moman said.

Among the things the Momans will discuss at ACREres regarding innovation and marketing are the use of 3D virtual tours and floorplans, still photography, video, aerial photography, virtual staging and virtual reality.
