Alabama foreclosure inventory dropped 24 percent in December, compared to the same period in 2015.
According to the latest foreclosure data from CoreLogic, Alabama had a foreclosure inventory rate of 0.5 percent.

The Serious Delinquency Rate stood at 3.2 percent for the state.
Overall, from December 2015-2016, there were 8,344 completed foreclosures, according to the report.
Nationally, there were 21,000 completed foreclosures during the month of December a drop form 36,000 foreclosures during December 2015.
The foreclosure rate nationwide is 0.8 percent, with a 2.6 percent Serious Delinquency Rate. The latter is down 19 percent from a year ago.
