ACRE Adds Director of Research & Corporate Engagement

The Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE) today announced the addition of a new staff member to a newly formed position at the center.  Kiernan “KC” Conway has assumed the role as Director of Research and Corporate Engagement. This position will manage the research division as well as serve as center ambassador to corporate real estate entities. Conway comes to ACRE with more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate as an appraiser, lender, credit officer and economist.

“We are thrilled to have someone of KC’s caliber joining the center,” said ACRE Executive Director Grayson Glaze. “His nationally recognized forecasting and thought leadership will not only enhance our existing market trends research but also drive the creation of new organic and collaborative research initiatives to better serve the real estate industry.”

Conway was most recently the Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management for SunTrust in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining SunTrust, he was Chief Economist for Colliers International and Commercial Real Estate Subject Matter Specialist for the Federal Reserve.  He is recognized as a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) and Member of the Appraisal Instituter (MAI). Conway is also a prolific speaker, addressing more than 750 industry, regulatory and academic bodies in the last decade. Throughout his career, Conway has been recognized for accurately forecasting real estate trends and changing market conditions across the United States.
