Baldwin County home sales experienced a 16 percent rise over December 2015 during 2016’s final month.

There were 467 homes sold in Baldwin County during December, compared to 402 sold the previous year.
All total, home sales for 2016 (5,571) increased 6.5 percent over home sales in 2015.

Inventory is also on the decline in Baldwin County dropping 7.4 percent from December 2015 to 2,519 homes. That being said, there were 5.4 months of housing supply on the market. Restated, given the current housing supply, it would take 5.4 months to absorb what is listed on the market.
